Thank you! I'm mostly going that route because they are the lightest rims excluding the fetherweight ravines I could find plus they look really nice with bigger tires. the fact it was a set of 5 where one already has a 31 on it helped too haha

I just sold the ravines off my GC for $400. I didn't know they were a 15x8 or I'd have kept them.

these bad boys?

They are 8 inchers. and VERY light. I think what i remember is ravines are 18.5 pounds a piece and Canyons are something like a pound more? where as my current steel wheels are somethign on the order of 29 or so pounds. so thats 40 pounds of skid i can have with no weight change

Tried to take it wheeling. Lately it's been making a clanking sound when driving. Sounds like a bent piece of metal bouncing around inside a straight tube is the best I could describe it. Definitely coming from the front. When i put it in 4x4 it sounds much worse. Best way to describe it is the bent piece of metal in the round tube is now pressed against the tube and makes a super loud metal on metal whine and popping sound... Needless to say I turned around and went home before something broke

Maybe they weren't ravines. The extra little square notch at the end of each spoke doesn't look familiar.

oh those are canyons, they are 8 inches wide and those are what I'm getting! 400 is great for those. I'm paying 325 and that includes the basically new 31 I'm getting with it

Don't your tires have some sort of massive sidewall too?

There's isn't any wear on the driveshaft of exhaust. It sounds like it's coming from the axle. Maybe something wrong with the axle shafts

Further reason not to feel bad, those were ZJ Canyons which are only 15x7. Only the TJ Canyons were 8's.
