Ordered new bumpstops and a double shear track bar from IRO. I've got some extra birthday money still, I'm kinda debating getting some of their adjustable LCAs next week. Not sure if I wanna do those or my 2x6 rockers first. Finally got the plasma cutter working last week and it's retarded how much easier it is to cut through 1/4" than with a grinder lol

Upper shock mounts wernt lose, but i gave them a few turns just because. I noticed today that i get a noise occasionally when starting from a stop. I cant pick it out on the road, only in parking lots and its only sometimes. I think i might pull the front shaft tonight, because it jas old u joints and whatnot.

Looks like you need a leaf blower attachment for your exhaust ...

Packed up for the last trail run of the season for me and ol' Scamper.

Hitting the Back Door to the top of a trail called Lavant Lookout w. ~7 other Jeeps tomorrow.

Hunters have privilege for most of November, then snowmobiles, and I've got projects piling up for it.

Well I got good news and bad news today. I was able to fix my door pin bracket that was slotted from over use. And I found the crack in my wonderful 0331 head. Ordering from Clearwater, am I to assume that the newer head they offer is the one I want? They had 2 New heads one was for 99 and up the other was for 90 and up but was a new casting. Don't know or I would have ordered it tonight. Little help appreciated.

well, How did ya fix it?

Mine, New thermostat, flush and fill heater core, block & Rad.
Powder coated my T-stat housing transparent blue .. came out a bit dark, but good

BTW, what's the deal with the pipe in red? it looks like scrap piping. anyone build something nicer, maybe even a bend to the hose fits better?

Sorry I forgot to tell. I've been fixated on this cracked head. The bracket was a simple fix. I just cleaned it up welded the holes re drilled to .25" and painted it so it won't rust. Took all of about 20 min. Nothing too it really. The rod that is connected to it is slotted a bit so it still pops when opening the door but its way better than before.

I like the t stat housing. That looks really close to patriot blue. And would match nicely.

That is the heater return tube to the water pump. It looks like it was probably damaged or rusted out and a previous owner "rigged" something up with scrap piping. The OE tube has a bend and ends at the front of the head. You can get a replacement on RockAuto or at most auto-parts stores for less than $10. DORMAN Part # 56398

I'm not sure the original replacement will work any more in that pump housing . It looks to me that the POs fix uses a threaded pipe . That may have ruined any chance of a OEM replacement sealing .
But , maybe I'm all wet ???
