de-flared it and cut the wheel well plastic back so it didnt look stupid. pics tomorrow, if anybody wants to see a flareless white '00 XJ with a 4 inch RC lift and 12.50 x 33's.

oh, and i also took a jigsaw with a few metal blades and cut back where my front tires were rubbing on the body.

Finally bedlined the rocker panels up to the body line on my XJ. Also put my AJ's superrails back on after removing and repainting them. Now I just need to paint the rear bumper to continue the black stripe all around the bottom of the Jeep.

dude it must be really fun taking those bikes down. With the lift on your jeep the rack makes it so the bikes are like 9 feet off the ground

After thinking about it for a few days I am going to wait and buy a better quality lift. My rear leafs are pretty flat so I think if I add another leaf to it, it's gonna end up the same way in a short period.

In the mean time I am buying some 30" tires and need just a little bit more clearance. Would 2" coil spacers and lift blocks work for this? I want to spend as little as possible right now so I can buy a real lift later on. If I can do that it will only set me back around a $100 or so.

the blocks will kill your leafs pretty fast from the research i have done. the general consensus is that shackles will be better, but i have no personal experience in it but if i was doing it i would go with shackles

Thanks. I'll go with the shackles then.

Rough Country has a 2" coil and shackle kit for $89.95. Sounds great to me.

drove home from nor cal, no issues with the jeep, just running a little hot still.

Then came to my parents house since my moms car was puffing black smoke and sputtering, her plugs where black and fouled, replaced them de carbon the engine and then ran it for a while and no more smoke or hesitation. Also having her run a bottle of lucas injector cleaner.
