Finished welding my door armor and got it painted and installed.

Used about 8 cut off wheels, and 7 drill bits, about 140 rivets and 3 half days of work. Was it worth it? I think so.

Primed

Painted

i think diamond plate is tacky, but i love your hoodvents so much you dont lose any points. haha.

my buddy pulled off his rear flairs and appearently tried to do the cut & fold method, and it worked poorly or something so he put the flair back on. anyone know the best way to trim the back without messing anything up? he needs to take those damn rear flairs off and trim it coz it looks stupid with the big trim we did on the front. oh, and anybody got the doorless conversion link handy? (sorry, cant find it..)

It's really straight forward. Cut vertically every 1-2" (I cut very close together on the curved parts) Fold it in. That's literally all there is to it.

I dont mean a hand held angle grinder...I'm talkin about a benchtop grinder...if I had a lathe or access to one I would do it that way.
even the guy from OK said that usin a bench grinder works, that he has done it that way before.

should be pretty simple...put the sleeve in the bushing so I have somthin to hold on to and slowly rotate bushing till its the correct size
