Still doing catch up maintenance the previous owner should have done. Wonder when the last these were replaced?

I made my own using knowledge from someone's writeup here. Ill take pictures later and post em. Possibly a writeup. The only hiccup I currently have is no control of the interior lights. I'm not sure how that works because it requires both a positive and a ground when using the factory switch. Odd

I believe the Grey wires go to lights and are Positive, so if you ground it the lights will come on.

i.e. the lights are already hooked to positive, ground to complete circuit.

hope that helps. I been working on the same stuff....

Got a few things done this week on the 01.
Installed Hadley air horn setup
Pulled rear wheel to find weird grinding noise on turns (found nothing, odd)
Installed K&N filter with dremeled airbox
Rustproofed every possible exposed piece of metal using Fluid Film™

While installing Hadley air horns, I found that the battery cables were VERY loose. I tightened them down and noticed much better throttle response and the idle is MUCH smoother.

Some pics...
rear brake shoes, this is normal? Never seen this kind of setup before.

Sanded down and repainted my hatch. I guess the fiberglass didn't like the duplicolor paint. turned out like crap, but it is still better than white/black fade

And also changed the oil to full synthetic and a napa gold filter (WIX)
