I put in my rebuilt alternator today, since it died on me the other day. I was pretty excited to get it rebuilt for $53, instead of paying $150 for a refurbished one from an auto parts store. It works great!

My radiator arrived today. I don't remember the site I bought it from but it's a 2 row, plastic-aluminum one that I got for $78 + S/H. Going to install it on Saturday.

Have fun installing that cheap radiator you bought. you might have to do it again!!

In my experience, the plastic-aluminum radiators dont hold too well. the aluminum is great, the glue holds well until you overheat, then the glue bubbles and you've got yourself a jacked up radiator. the plastic part of the radiator...... that part likes to expand like all plastic. my other one did. i had a nice green puddle under my car last summer driving with some mild overheating issues.

I'd take very special care of the radiator you bought. make sure you do the whole burping technique, and watch it for a whole month. till then, be scared...... be very scared! hahahahhaah!! J/k. but i'd be very careful about buying cheap stuff when it comes to cooling the chunk of steel.

I orderd my Bored Throttle Body on Wednesday, March 18.

Need a shop in Sacramento Area willing to port and polish my Throttle body SPACER to match the mil on the Throttle body.

I purchased the one off Ebay for $125. Bored and polished to 62mm and brass plate and whatever they detailed. Outright sale with no core. meaning.... i'll have an extra TB!

Ordered my Yukon 4.88 gears and master rebuild kits, frame stiffeners, U-bolt eliminator kit to get the 8.8 put in, Superior 8.8 axle kit, some axle trusses, Soft 8's, 35" Cooper STT's. Have to wait till the morning to order my ox locker because my bank has a daily spending limit on my checking account. Can't wait for it all to get here, but my wallet hates me now.

I dunno all the ones that come on these newer cars are plastic-aluminum and they are all holding up pretty well.

Installed the radiator and a new thermostat today with no issues. I was surprised usually whenever I work on the Jeep there's always a bolt that breaks or a hose that cracks but not today.
