lol

I bought this 2 door stickshift. That's me putting my 33's on it because I didn't want the tires that originally came with it. It has a 3.5" rustys lift on it. I added some polyspacers which brought it to 5" lift. Its 2wd, but I already swapped my D30 in it. I need more $$ before I can replace the trans.

thats where my paint started flaking off originally... then the hood, then around the windows... when I repainted mine.. I put 4 base coats and 2 clear coats on mine.. i hope I never have to repaint it again for awhile. I also got rid of the rubber door, qtr trim.. it was hiding rust behind it like crazy.. I wound up having to replace passenger side fender, and alot of sheet and bondo filled in the rust holes.. its not perfect by any means but its good enough for me.

Replaced a leaky wheel cylinder, and the o rings on the oil filter adapter, and a leaky oil sending unit.
Hopefully my brakes will last a while this time, and I hope my oil leak is fixed.

Just welded my muffler back in for state inspection. Now I can't hear it over my freaking tires.

2.8L! That's the same engine that I have in my '89 Chevy Cavalier. The fuel injectors die all the time along with most of the sensors and I had to replace two of the valves after the timing chain broke. But it is a decent engine most of the time. There are thousands of them in the JY's. A little under powered for an XJ though IMO. The body of that one looks good though and a GM 3400 should fit right in there, 3800 with a little modifications.
