Haven't done anything in a while, I'm just confirming she is still running fine and I haven't died or anything. My Forum activity has dwindled as of late. And I need to fork out some dough to extend my membership.

Been on jackstands for the past 4-5 days.. waiting on parts. Been bumming rides off friends and family. I hate this. I want to drive my Jeep.

I love the 5.9L in the Durango, but there is no way I would need that amount of power wheeling. I'm perfectly fine with my 4.0 I'm easy on the skinny peddle when wheeling. I tear it up here and there, but there was never a situation I was in that I thought... "MAN, if only I would have had a bit more power I could have made that..."

So, my advice is to leave the V8 power and gas guzzler for your DD/tow rig. Save the money to build up the XJ instead of buying something else. Your XJ is fine.... just break out the sawzmost and get to work. Lose the top and windshield and start building the cage.

i do alot of hill climbing and stuff like that so power is nice to have but rocks are alot of what i do too. im gonna see what all can be done for a roof and go from there and see if it really would be more beneficial to get another jeep. and for my zj, im just driving it for now and then when im out of college, im hoping to sell it and get a newer dodge ram.

Where the hell can I find a Dana 300? Can't find any locally, time to start calling proper shops who will sell it for two hundred dollars more than it's worth. Found some on eBay but it's like $100 shipping.

I'm tired of like 400RPM lugging crawls and I like my clutch, but I also like my highway speeds. Gonna go for flipped and clocked Dana 300, LoMax 4:1 and might as well do twin sticks while I'm at it. Not doing a doubler, the 300 doesn't like pairing up for too long without cracking the case.

a guy has one for sale right now on NC4x4, but I guess that doesn't help you out way up there in Canada, does it?
