Go with a craftsman breaker bar. I have put a pipe on mine several times and its still fine.

I finally aligned the Jeep. It was over an inch out! I gotta tell you guys, the pulling during accelerating and braking was getting on my nerves. Don't know if it is really cured, but it did not seem to pull hardly at all during my drive into work tonight.

There can be no fifty-fifty Americanism in this country. There is room here for only 100% Americanism, only for those who are Americans and nothing else.

glad to hear you were able to unload it. Time to buy another toy with that $500. Is it going towards the JEEP or GSXR addiction?

I just picked one up from Harbor Freight tonight. We'll see how long that is going to hold out

my greatneck breaker bar has never failed me... and we're talking 36mm axle nut with me standing on the end jumping up and down. That did the trick, not a single bend or break on the breaker bar. (ironic name huh?)

mine's Jeep approved, nothing yet it cant handle...

For the big stuff my friend has a 3/4" drive pipe-like breaker bar, the bar itself weighs 15 pounds

My Jeep sat in the lot and coated itself with pollen well I worked. Yeughhh

If you were meaning me, I'll have some up later this week. I've been doing this in between rain storms so I haven't had time to take pics. Turned out VERY nice though.

Oh, and I did get the Hella lights on tonight. Now to finish wiring everything.

that is all... carry on
yeah most of my wheelin buds have removed the springs from their mounts for that exact reason. other option I guess would be to stick it through a tennis ball and tie the tip down (jk)... at which point why have a spring.
no spring on mine anymore, it still flexes with branches then back into place but rarely hits paint. damn spring wreaked havoc on my SWR anyway.
carry on

This is a pic of my trusty 1/2" Craftsman breaker bar. I was removing the crank bolt from a Honda Odyssey and after trying a 3/4" impact, had to use heat and an 8ft section of exhaust pipe. You can't tell in that picture, but the pipe is about 6ft off the ground at the end. I was on it with all my weight and had it pulled down to about a foot off the ground before something finally snapped. Luckily it was the bolt breaking free and not the socket or breaker bar.

Tonight I attempted to put sides on my HF trailer. I went and picked up the side kit they sell and drilled all the holes, but when I went to put the bolts through they looked a bit short. How the hell do you say to use 3/4 inch plywood and then only provide bolts that are a c$&# hair longer than that? F'n pisses me off.

Not all of it was done today, but a lot of it has happened over the last few.

Got my H.D. Offroad shackle relocation brackets, they showed up Tuesday. Not sure how soon I'll be able to get them in, depends on how long it takes the JKS Cross-over shock mount I ordered today, to get here. I really am getting tired of the crappy ride. Expecially cince I got the RE control arm drop brackets on today. Rides like a Cadillac up front, and a dump truck in the rear.
