Check out the lifts sticky in non-tech of you haven't already. Loads of pics and most specify the tires and wheels shown.

Otherwise here's mine with 15x8 soft 8's 3.75" bs, Michelin LTX's A/T2 31x10.5's and Napier pocket flares

Personally I really like the 17" JK 5-spokes on XJ's. If you're willing to do the spacer/adapters it's worth a quick Google to check out

Lets see the wheel and tires on your XJ.

I found these 2005 Rubicon moab wheels locally. 16x8. Is there something special about these wheels?

Nothing special, just a clean factory alloy wheel that a lot of people really like the look of. Very popular wheel, so Jeep modified the design slightly and uses the same basic design on the JKs as well.

It fits the XJ's bolt pattern, unlike the JK ones.

It's just a really popular look and relatively hard to find in the old TJ 16" 5x4.5 compared to the later 17" JK 5x5. Loads of those floating around from guys tossing them in favor of rockstar fake beadlocks

I'd jump on the Moabs you posted. Like said above, the TJ Rubicons are hard to find and those look to be in great condition assuming the price is right. The JK Rubicons are a dime a dozen and are for sale all the time which I'm not a fan of.
