Xj I'm baaaccckkkkk!!!!

USAFRecon is back!! I finally got back in the seat of a Jeep. This time a 2000 Cherokee Sport. Already has a 3' Skyjacker and 31s.

Plans?

Of course there are plans. Bumpers front and rear, fender flares, 33s, slider/steps, some better lighting which I will need to do more research on, and a basket on the roof.

Sorry for the potato pics, it is dark and that is when the iPhone fails, taking dark photos in a bright garage...

Can you guys give me some headliner ideas? I am headed to a junkyard tomorrow and will be attempting to source a headliner board since then en hasn't got one. I am thinking of getting fabric from Hobby Lobby or the such, maybe a camo pattern? Any ideas are much appreciated!

Also might be trading a guy my 31s for 33s on stock steelies.

Confused here. Why is it when I have a serious inquiry people think its completely fine to be a jackwagon? Phil, uncalled for. Completely.

Been a bit as I have been busy. Got a starter on the Jeep and sorting out various issues. I bought this knowing fair well I would have to deal with some issues. Well in typical fashion there were issues I wasn't even ready for, nor knew they existed.

Exhibit A

I wasn't expecting a deal tail light bulb to be a hacked wiring mess. So fleaBay had one and I got it on the way.

Other thing when I bought it sounded a bit like a diesel. So I threw on a starter and tightened up the flexplate bolts and now she sounds like a 4.0 again. I will have some wheelin pics up soon.

And hey, if you didn't know, the light harness on both sides just unplug. Just remove the panel where the spare tire mounts to a ta da, unplug old one, plug in new(er) one.

Sorry but you literally said ANY suggestion was appreciated.
I guess cammo or grey like every other person with a sagging headliner - but if that was what you wanted, why even ask?
Just go to hobby lobby and look at the shelf and post a pic when you are done.

I actually do plan to do something crazy with mine because it's 16yo POS truck I paid $1200 for and i have a sense of humor.

Good luck with your project

Regarding the headliner: I went to the local fabric store and got the thickest felt they had, bought two cans of spray glue, and spent 6 hours of my life I'll never get back. It worked but I'll never do it again.

That's a joke right? You asked for ideas, it was posted as one. It wasn't even just a picture of fabric, but of an actual setup in a vehicle. It was such a serious inquiry it took how many months to look at the replies?

Either way, make sure you don't use spray glue if you want it to last through the heat.

I had some leftover Raptor Liner, so when my head liner started to come down, I took out the board. Used my shop vac to suck off all the crappy foam and sprayed the board with the Raptor Liner. I get compliments on it, if someone happens to notice it. I can also tell you I didn't spend 6 hours on it, maybe 5 and a 1/2. But, it will never sag again!

I am gonna whore out the XJ some more before I get some wheelin pics

Besides putting the bumper on I need to paint the hood. Also need to get a headliner and then I can start mods.
