Do you drive a Jeep w/o airbag every day?

I don't feel comfortable driving a car w/o ABS, but I will never drive one w/o airbag.
Lately I am thinking to replace my Durango and get SUV with 6 airbags and blowing up seat belts..
Do Commanders have 6 airbags?

None of my Jeeps ever had ABS. I wouldn't want it offroad. Wear a seatbelt and you don't need the airbag either. My CJ and YJ didn't have them. Airbags are overrated in some Jeeps.

You can modify the vehicle manually. Adding two more airbags. By default, they don't come up with 6 bags.

I don't have airbags or ABS in my '89 daily driver. I suspect people my age have a different perspective (been driving since '67).

I was at a local car show, and two young guys were looking at a beautifully set up late 70 Porsche. One said ' I'd love that car but it doesn't have airbags', Criteria like that you miss things in life (he's probably never ridden a motorcycle either)

I have 1994 daily driver with abs w/o airbag.

Airbag is good but i can manage car without it. I think neck rests are more important. Many 80-90's american cars have very poor neck rests. Slow impact behind you in traffic lights etc and neck says boom.

In snow/ice those xj:s abs are very bad. Braking distance is horrible. Without abs you can stop very much sooner. I wonder can i just take socket off at abs pump system etc? Abs is good that you can steer when you brake but big stop distance is worser option.

Yes, ABS is horrible in snow.

I drove my YJ daily with no airbags or ABS for over ten years. On the freeway.

The 4th 5-seater YJ in the world.

Iím with jay-h , I could care less about having airbags and actually would prefer not having them , but I come from a era of metal dashes and no seat belts and no bicycle helmets, but most of us survived fine.
Iím not knocking airbags for on highway use , Iím sure they save lives, but itís not a priority for me
