anyone ever get this?

I just installed the rough country 4.5" short arm kit, and it looks like I got 6.5-7" of lift? From center of hub to bottom of fender measures 24" in the front. I dont mind the extra lift but now I need alot more than I expected to make it work. Just curious if anyone else has had this issue?

Are your fenders trimmed? Any pictures would be helpful.

It's like above 4.5" of lift, but will settle down over time once you cycle the suspension.

Even at 6.5" I'm running stock steering (V8 ZJ but still stock set up) and short arms, how in the world are you binding?

When you get the pics, try to take one straight on of the steering. Only way I could see it is if the pitman are is dropped to far and throwing it out of parallel but even then I have a hard time believing that.

I have the rc x series lift and got about 5.5-6 it when new. It has settled aldown to about 4.75". I have never had my steering bind with it. I know I had a a lot of bump steer before the alinement though.

That thing looks as sorts of goofy. I wouldn't put it on my rig.

Hard to say because of the angle of the picture but that's the first thing I would replace if I were you.

Even with it out the steering is super janky, turns anout 1/4 the normal radius left and half normal right
