Warn wireless driving lights

These lights are awesome. Got them today and had them installed with just a cResent wrench and a set of torx. In the parking lot in 20 minutes. I was impressed. They were like 170 from 4wd. And the fact that I didnt have to drill holes to mount the switch in te dash was great. The wireing kit that comes with it it all snap fitted so you don't even need a splicing kit. Notto confuse any one the wireless part is the switch it's a little clicker that looks like a key fob clicker for your door locks and I just Velcro'd it to my dash. Just thought I would share this since I was so impressed. They're well worth the money. And they look badarse

Cool I have been waiting for someone to purchase them and give some feedback. Seems like a good idea but i just wasn't sure on how the wireless feature work, by any chance have you tired it from any distance to see the range you can get outta the fob?

I haven't tried the distance thing. But like all the other lights I've had. U have to tap into a live wire off another light. I used the side marker light due to easy access. And the fact that I don't have to have the headlights on. So I don't know what the distance would do for you. But I will give it a try tommorow and le ya know.

Yea the go prepared sticker. I think I'll stick with my jeepforum sticker. :-)

Wireless lights? Pfft... that's impossible!

Lights that have a wireless switch? That's totally plausible... and excellent.

Those look great and thanks for the write up. I couldn't find anything on these in the review section. I'll be putting these on in the next couple weeks.

Ha... well played. I didn't think anyone would mention a Tesla coil... so I didn't bother to note that as an exception.

It's cheaper to make your own, if you can.
All you need is one of these:
UNIVERSAL 12 VOLT 12V WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH - eBay (item 380077501530 end time May-23-10 20:56:05 PDT)

There are tons of different kinds of switches available, some for even $12.

I just bought one of these: 12V DC POLARITY REVERSIBLE MOMENTARY REMOTE SWITCH RM66 : eBay Motors (item 400113972738 end time May-07-10 07:40:34 PDT) ...for my 8274 Warn winch (along with dash controls and a standard remote). Now I just need a day off to finish the winch plate and install it all...
