So go to put my hard top on today and there’s mouse Sh!!t juice running down the inside of the back glass while it was covered outside this summer. They got up into the whole where the left defrost wire goes in and in where the right heater/wiper assembly wires come out to the wiper motor. I tried flushing it the best I could and put some bleach down it and it’s currently draining. So my question is whether or not they make like a rubber grommet or seals to go around the wiring that leads into and out of the hardtop. Not only would I like it to prevent this in the future, but also to keep whatever smell is left in there hopefully remaining in there the best I can. 2015 Wrangler JK 2 Door

You know the expandable spray foam that comes in a can to seal around doors and windows. They also make that stuff that is "vermitt" resistant. It has a poison of some kind built in.

Maybe get a can, fill the voids, trim off the excess.

Just one example, other brands available.

Thanks..great idea. Don’t know why I didn’t think of that one. Did a little research and found a product called Mouse shield with pesticides built in so I’ll give it a try. That’s really the only one I found with solid reviews. All others claimed to protect against mice and rodents but people said they chewed right through it.

Is the mouse shield product you referenced, the same as I showed in my post above?

Yep that’s the one, sorry didn’t see pic attached. From what I’ve found, that’s the only one that really works according to reviews. All the other “pest resistant” ones don’t have any pesticides so I don’t know what else makes them resistant but apparently it doesn’t work. I’ll let you know how it works
