Replacement Headlights

Looking to replace the stock headlights on the 99.

Just want to keep them white and brighter.

Any recommendations?

Go on ebay guy a set of aftermarket housing and a H4 HID kit. I did it on my 06 Rubicon and 95 XJ they are amazing. Go with a 5000K system. They are 35 watts and bright as hell.

As a side note, I've heard not to go any higher than that. Reason being 5000K is right around the light temp of sunlight, which is pure white. Any higher than that, and they get blue, which inhibits visibility, even though it looks cool. Lower than that, it turns to yellow light, again impairing visibility.

He is right. 6k and above have a blue tint in them. I bought delta lights off quadratec.com and they work amazing. While they are off you can see blue in the lense, but at night they are almost pure white.

I went with silverstars as direct replacement they are a 100% better that stock and are white. I would have gone with fat boys and the H4 conversion, but I didn't have that kind of cash right now. My stock bulbs I always had to drive with my fog lights on. Now my lows look like my old brights, and the brights are super bright. I've also heard go things about Hella Vision Plus as well but they are $35 on ebay and my silverstars were only $20, at the local fleet farm.

I have ipf housing had fat boys in them they burned out replaced with silverstar h4's dont think the fat boys were worth the extra money. But the housings and the h4 bulbs are much better then stock bulbs.

As said; Have em' (with the Xeons) & love em.
Clean bright upgraded light... so bright and white that I HAD to upgrade my fog-light bulbs because they pailed yellow in comparison.

Below after Deltas installed - but fog bulbs are stock -

Below are with upgraded fogs

I did some research before buying my headlights (shouldn't have, because I got pulled over for my burnt out headlamp)
I found that a lot of kits were overpriced. I was suggested these Hella H4 housings, which are proven for fitment, glass thickness (strength), and European Code beam pattern.
The light pat.tern on these is so crisp and clear. They light up the road so much better, even running the 55/60 watt bulbs
I would definitely buy them again.

And a pair of bulbs from here:

I personally wouldn't go over 70 watts on stock wiring.

My heep

FWIW, 4300 is the closest to white light, NOT 6k
