Possible new LJ

I am hoping i can get some information from the jeep guru's here. I am looking at buying a 2004 LJ with 80,000 miles. I will be trading my 03 tj with 130,000 miles and am looking to be out the door at $10,000. The LJ comes with both tops, brand new 33's on stock rims including the spare with same tire, it has a skyjacker 4" lift which appears to include new control arms front and back springs shocks adjustable trackbar disconnects etc. which is only 6 months old and no real miles on it, it has both tops and an m8000 warn winch. Do you guys think that would be a good price for the lj? I drove it and there are no vibrations and everything seems tight no sway or wobble. What do the Jeepers think?

$10,000 plus your trade in?That's way too high. The LJ isn't worth over $15000(dealership) tops where I live.I found an 04' lifted Rubi with low miles for $13,500 on craigslist.

Is 10k the asking price or your price?

Is the LJ at a dealership? If so, I wouldn't trade your current Jeep in. You would definitely get more selling it yourself. And I would say try to get the LJ for 12-13K.

Yeah the lj is at a dealership and I was trying to get it to $10,000 out the door. I still owe $2,000 on mine so that is why I was thinking $10,000. They are at $8,900 with my trade in not figuring in the $2,000 I owe so right now they are offering it to me at $10,900 which is out the door with my trade and payoff. I would really like a lj but I don't know enough about what a good price would be. Does my extra information above help out with my dilemma and if it would be a good deal.

Sounds like a good deal to me, check the kbb value of it and try and stay as close to that as they will allow.

Yea the LJ is what I wanted when I bought my tj but there just weren't any around and the more I researched and read on the forum the more I wanted an LJ. This has really everything I want on it except rockers so I am leaning towards getting it.

That kind of price doesn't happen here in the Midwest. Stockers here non Rubi with decent miles still bring 14-15. If less than 40k Miles then they want 18k.

Jb is right it's hard to find an LJ let alone a rubi that is decent priced, I wish I could find a rubi unlimited for 13,500! I am sure I will be posting picks after I get it. The other good thing about the deal is I can take all the stuff off my tj that will work on the LJ. Thanks for all the replays guys it helped push me over the edge to go for it!

My 06 with 87K was 14.7k out the door.

Sounds like a good deal, especially if you like everything done to it.
