New to the forum seeking advice

I hate for my introduction post to be used for advice but I'm not sure where else to post this. I have a 2006 Rubicon that I would appreciate help determining a price for (if this is inappropriate, Admin please move thread to proper section).

I'm the second owner, bought in 2010. I travel for business and never drive it anymore. I plan to be back to the Jeep world one day but for now this one needs to go to someone who will use it.

2006 Jeep Wrangler (TJ), Nice clean not abused condition
61,100 miles
6 speed manual transmission
Sail cloth soft top(bestop) less that 1 year old.
2.75 suspension lift
285/75r16 Goodyear Wrangler MTRs

Seems like the asking prices on low miles TJ/ LJ rubicons are above book value. Any insight as to what I should price it at would be appreciated.

In my area that's probably a 12-14k jeep. There are people who over value low mileage and if you can find one of them maybe more. For me maintenance history and rust condition more important value indicators.

I think "the book" should be thrown out when it comes to wranglers. I also appreciate condition/maintenance over miles.

With that said, what I do on anything I sell, I research CraigsList in my area. Then I list it at a higher price, and based on interest, and how fast I want it sold, I lower the price.

I hate when I list something and it sells in the first day, makes me think I left money on the table. While setting my own price vs time table, Im pretty satisfied.

Edit, a really neat story on a Honda Civic we had. Book value was $2800, I had hoped for at least $3000. I listed it for $3300. Had several callers in the first couple days. One guy like it and offered me book value, $2800. I told him no and that I had other callers. I sold it a few days later for $3100. The first guy called me back and said his $2800 offer still stood. I told him I sold it. He asked how much, when I told him $3100, he asked why the buyer paid more than book value. Go figure.

I am multi-talented, I can talk and piss you off at the same time.

In my area it would list for $16,500 and probably sell for $15,000. When I bought my 03' Rubicon, the guy listed it on Craigslist at 11pm Saturday night for $9800. He had 30 calls/emails wanting it by morning, but the banks were closed (Sunday). I drove 2 hours and brought cash. It was a one owner, rust free and every service record from day one.
