Farwell

Just stoppin in the last time. My pockets are empty. It still ran, and drove but it was gunna die soon and i just can't afford to dump more and more into this rig. i could have paid it off 3 times. So before it completely stops, i traded in my jeep for an AWD subaru.
You all have been great and have never held back info. The yj community as a hole is a great bunch of hard working and loyal folks. I wish you safe trails.
See in you in a few years when its more financially responsible to own a JEEP.
Laters.

i swear my yj knows when payday is coming...

I know where you are coming from. I had to get rid of jeeps for the same reason and came back when the time was right. Enjoy the Subaru they are great cars.

Side point: In the 60s Tokyo power used Jeeps to patrol their power lines, but the lack of heat and creature comfort had them looking for an alternative. They approached Subaru and had a few AWD prototypes built. The rest is history.

I've got a Subie Legacy as my beater (though the YJ is my daily driver). I think they have the best drive train layout of any Japanese car.

This typo made me laugh uncomfortably loud.

Sorry to see you give up the Jeep. I know Subaru gets bashed on a lot here but I hear they are good vehicles, all things considered.

Hey, I own a Jeep and a Subi, the Subi (with 120,000 miles) is becoming the money pit!

My father in law is nearing 300k in his legacy. Been doing basic maintenance. This is his third if I remember right.

Ha looking at an old SVX as a beater to get better gas mileage when I don't need to drive the truck. See how it looks this week.

Good luck.
