custome made hood decals

Hello, I wonder how to get custom made decals for the side of the hood where we can see Rubicon etc. logo. I wish to create my own logo and as well pick the color , size etc. Who do you recommend so it won't break my bank.

Call around to your local graphics shops that do commercial vehicle vinyls and wraps, pretty much anyone of them can make them for you. Just make sure they use quality 3M vinyl.

We've thought about getting a set of the vinyl deals for the jeep. but over time the decal would fade or could peal off the surface. Instead, I'm creating my own decals, but with a painted template. Did the freedom stripe down the left & right side of the jeep. Been working on the single color American flag for both sides of the jeep. Basically located the flag image online, then print this out to desired size. the flag would be a two part spray on process. Same with the stripes. just masked both sides off, used a light sand paper then sprayed an adhesion promoter, painted the carbon black color then 2 coats of a matter clear. Look just like the freedom decal, but will last 10x longer.

My wife has a Silhouette Vinyl cutter and made mine. She uses the outdoor Orcal 651 vinyl and it does a good job. My lettering has been on my jeep for about 3 years now.

Nice! Does she sell to the public and have a website?

We make them for friends and family and she uses it for stuff she makes in her crafting hobby.

Neither of us are really good with doing multi color, etc. Basic stuff, we are fine with.
