Anyone see the BS from consumer reports about wranglers?

Consumer reports say wranglers don't ride well and have quality issues. First of all any moron that buys a Wrangler and expects them to drive and sound like a Cadillac are MORONS. Wranglers retain their value the best, because people who really know Wranglers keep buying them over and over again. Let the Japanese "Consumer Report" drive that to the bank.

Consumer Reports views vehicles as appliances. Think of a blender. You turn it on, and turn it off when you need it, and never give it another thought. You would never decide to use the blender because it's fun, or it sounds cool. Consumer reports does not take into account that we all buy vehicles for different reasons. If they were to take one of their beloved Toyota Camrys, or Honda Civics off road , that Wrangler would be the greatest thing since beer and pizza. They judge a vehicle based on some utilitarian matrix, without regard as to what that particular vehicle was designed for, or why a person would want to buy it in the first place. To them, vehicles are simply transportation, only to be used when needed.

The guys at Consumer Reports are morons. Making the Jeep ride like their grandmother's Oldsmobile would ruin the Wrangler.

That's for sure. I'm not looking forward to what they will have to do to the wrangler for better fuel economy.

Pretty soon all we will have is a cuv with stupid selectable all wheel drive. In other words bye bye low range.

Well we can say that last "new" wranglers starting in say 12 have had more than enough quality issues. Not like the 11 down to 7 did not have a few as well.

That is Fiats fault. If i added up what it cost Jeep to fix mine just the first 3 years. I am sure they made nothing on it and it cost them to keep it running and me as well. How Jeep handles, it is a Jeep in Barby world.

All true 4 wheel drive vehicles have more inherent problems that sedans. They are bigger, heavier, and are put to tough use. I'll keep buying wranglers regardless of what Consumer Reports says. I've owned my Tj for 16 years with absolutely no problems.
