upgrading bumpers and winch

Hi -

I just bought a 2017 Rubicon Unlimited with 4 in lift and 35s.

Looking to upgrade bumpers and add a winch for crawling.

Looking at Barricade Trail Force HD Full Width or a Rockhard Patriot full width. Anyone have experience with these? Some reviews on Barricade talked about flaking and rust...

Any good recommendations for solid 9500-10000 lb winch for real use offroad?

Thanks so much.

I would go with the Rock Hard over the Barricade every day of the week.

Rock Hard is top quality, USA made stuff that just hold up. Barricade is Chinese junk from Extreme Terrain and is far less quality and durability than Rock Hard.

Yup, had stuff both companies. Learn from my mistakes.

For a winch, how are you going to use your Jeep? A lot, in rocks, etc or a little on fire roads, etc.? A cheap Harbor Freight winch works (usually) but is slow. A Smittybilt winch is more expensive, faster but you can't buy parts to fix it down the road. Warn is expensive, can be built either in the US or China depending on the series of the winch but can be rebuilt in the future.

Thanks cranbiz -

Good insight on bumper. For the winch, use a lot on rock and trails. Warn was one I was considering.
