Max miles on JK before buying an older one?

I am looking for an unlimited to buy and have around $19k to spend. Most I am finding have around 100k miles. When do the JK Unlimited 6 cylinders start having issues?

I need it to be a daily driver and dependable.

Should I stay less than 100k ?

I found a handful with 120-150 and one is in really good cosmetic shape.

I am looking at this one today and Carfax shows it was from Canada and had five owners. Looks clean. Has everything I want. Extra soft top. Lift ready to go. It was purchased from an auction and the dealership told me it was owned by another dealership before the auction.

I am wondering if people didn’t buy because of the lift. Any thoughts? Suggestions when I test drive?

If a dealer sends a vehicle to auction, there's a reason for it...especially with something desirable like a Wrangler that normally would be an easy sell.
Plus, if it's from Canada and been through that many owners, dealers and auctions across who knows how many states, there are a lot of opportunities there for funny business with the title such as taking a totaled or salvage title and making it clean again by going through certain states with the title. Just because the Carfax came back clean doesn't mean it's never been in an accident or never had issues...just that those issues never got reported to Carfax.
I think I'd be extra careful on inspecting every inch of this one...

Thank you. Found another one and it’s a 2011.

The main thing with the 2011s are that it still used the old 3.8. In 2012, they updated that to the newer 3.6 which has nearly 100 more horsepower than the 3.8 did. There's nothing 'wrong' with the old 3.8, but if you can afford just 1 year newer, you're going to get much more power.
