I work too hard for my money to think about what I "might" have to do to the 3.8

Compare 06 rubi and 13 sport

Both similar price. O6 has only 25k miles but 13 only has 17k so both very low miles. Otherwise similar. The 2013 is like new. Opinions?

Also what is special about "Sport" pkg.

Someone stop me

How do I not buy a 2013 Jeep Sport with 17k miles on it that is like new for 21,000? Well, I'm also looking at an 06 Rubicon with only 25k miles on it for the same price. But the 06 still has that older feel inside especially and it's still 8 years old as opposed to basically new. I've only had older Jeeps. My guess is the newer ones ride better, etc., and while I do hope to offroad some this is my main vehicle. Thoughts? I'm shopping tomorrow!

Buy them both!..Tough decision. The 2013 is a great deal. But, I'm more partial to the TJ's.

the physical size would make me go 06. Ive got a real tight trail into my deer blind and the only thing going through there are a tj or a atv and I like it that way.

The "Sport" package can save you a bundle.
The '06 is eight years old. The '13 is one year old.

I'd go 06. But I am bias toward the TJs.

I merged several similar threads together here.
No need to start a new one for each new thought, thanks.

Does anyone know if Jeep manufacturers warranties transfer to second owner?

Yep. Factory warranties are based on time or mileage, not the owner.

Well I went against all the advice lol and bought the 09 instead of the 06. Have you people ever driven a JK? Good grief I get what you're saying about the engine and stuff but I've now had a YJ, a TJ and this JK is freaking awesome... so dang comfortable... and being a Rubicon, I think I'll be just find off road. As far as the engine, well, I got the warranty, lol. Anyway thx all, but I just gotta say that teh diff in the 07 up seems HUGE in the positive to me... at least when it comes to something I am driving to work every day.
