2012 jeep grand cherokee overland

Hello everyone,
I'm looking to buy my first jeep and had an eye on the jeep grand cherokee overland 2012 v6 but i've read multiple reviews concerning its reliability. Does anyone here having the 2012 overland share with me his experience with it? and what about the fuel consumption? From what I'm reading online it should be about 19 mpg as average but some people in my area telling me it's less than that. So can anyone having the 2012 grand cherokee v6 share with me its gas milleage?

Wife had a '12 limited V6 for awhile, loved the vehicle. Though some differences than an overland, but overall no mechanical / electrical issues with this vehicle. On the highway cruising the speed limit we got as high as 24mpg, and in the city maybe 18ish depending on traffic, etc. Only reason she got rid of her '12 was to get an '16 - 75th addition one.

'14 Ram 2500
'16 WK2 75th addition
'16 JKU 2.5" lift, 35s, 4.56 gears, lockers

We've had a 2012 Limited 4x4 V6 with the tow package, NAV, HID's, premium sound and a few other options since 2012 and now nearly 80k miles.

Other than oil changes, filter changes, bulbs, brake pads, coolant/brake system flush, and tires, we've only made one repair.

We replaced a thermostat a year or so ago.

It's been a great and rugged vehicle.

The motor has been rock solid burning not a drop between ~8k (ECM monitored) oil changes.

It's one of the reasons I ordered a 2016 JKU with the same motor.

Fuel mileage varies a bit with usage.

That said in mixed usage we rarely see less than 18 mpg normally getting closer to 20, and easily get 22-24 mpg on road trips.

Current Jeeps:

2016 JKUS
2012 WK2 Limited
