2006 Golden Eagle price?!?

One of our neighbors is selling his 2006 Golden Eagle with only 39k original miles on it. It is in very good condition and sat in garage at his second home in New Mexico. Comes with over sized tires and lift, winch, original Golden Eagle tires, hard top, and bikini top. Jeep seems to be in GREAT condition. He has it listed for $17,500. Any help is appreciated from a first time Jeep buyer.

The way I see it, it can be valued in 2 different ways.

1. Just like any low mileage, modified, good condition Wrangler.

2. As a limited special edition Wrangler, but the mods take away from the value. Worth is in the eyes of the beholder.

Depends on your plans. If you want a jeep to go off roading, rock crawling, daily driver, go with 1.

If you want a classic collector vehicle to keep pristine for show/tell, go with 2.

I see cable channel car auctions where people pay crazy amounts for vehicles, because it's worth it to them.

I am multi-talented, I can talk and piss you off at the same time.

The TJ is my all-time favorite vehicle, so I could see myself paying that much for rust-free, low-mileage

2017 JK Sahara (my Smartcar)
2011 KK Liberty (H&R lift springs, OldManEmu shocks/struts, skinny 32)
2009 Kia Sorento (H&R springs, ToyTec strut spacers, OldManEmu shocks/struts, skinny 31)
2006 TJ budget LCG prerunner (see profile)
2006 Chevy Trailblazer (EXT lift, Nth LJ 4.5" springs + Monroe rear coilovers, skinny 32)
1998 Dodge Durango (SuspMax & Roadmaster lifts, rear Truetrac, skinny 32)

This is exactly what I was referring to above. Priceless to some.

But, to just have a TJ for normal TJ stuff, not priceless.
