Built 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon LJR

2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon (LJ). Has right at 64,754 miles. Clean TX title on hand. Jeep is in really good shape. Perfect combination for being a daily driver that is very capable on the trails.

Here is a list of Mods. This jeep is my personal jeep I just finished. *Invested over 330 logged hours in the Oregon shop on this build along with over $85k spent in total, $27k for the jeep plus the parts used in the build. It's an awesome jeep and will do anything you would like to do including the most technical trails and daily driving. This build was to have a finished jeep that would feel awesome wherever it is taken to, by maximizing its capability with all the small, tedious touches it takes to make them really work well off-road and improve drastically the on-road handling. I also tried to take all the extra steps to make the suspension and steering as durable as possible. I've used all my past, practical, real-world off-road experience to anticipate potential weak links or vulnerable components and address them so this would be a bulletproof off-road/overland/expedition/on-road jeep. The mod list below scratches the surface of the work that has been done. The pictures will also show many of the details addressed.

6 speed Manual

Body:
• Rokmen highline front fenders 3" flare.
• Rokmen rock sliders modded for larger rear wheel opening. Reinforcement pieces on inside of tub as well. Tire fits without any contact at full stuff.
• Moded Rokmen merc gt front bumper to fit warn power plant winch (Winch and air compressor).
• Rokmen rear bumper.
• Gen right rear corner armor with 3" flares highlined to the highest location possible.
• Body armor painted to match body color.
• Full doors.
• 3 season on a new khaki factory soft top.
• 2000 rear tailgate without the rear vent.
• All door handles painted to match.
• Genright Boulder rear tire carrier.

Suspension:
• Nth degree 4.5” long arm suspension.
• Modded sub frames to accept Johnny joints.
• Full skid plates and tummy tuck underneath.
• Front Nth degree diff skid.
• Rear Nth degree diff skid.
• Custom center rear stinger for proper pinion angle in rear.
• Outboard mounted rear shocks.
• Relocated rear lower shock mounts.
• 12" Bilstein remote reservoir rear shocks.
• 14" Bilstein remote reservoir front shocks.
• Front shocks relocated for max articulation.
• SwayLOC dual rate front anti-sway bar.
• Metal Cloak 4.5” inch front and rear spring with limit strapped so spring never unloads at full droop and shock stops right before the end of the shock stoke.
• The bump stops are set to proper length so that rear tires make no contact with the body, frame or inner fender.
• Front bump stops are set to allow full articulation without any tire contact to the body. Nearly full lock to lock steering is capable and with the axle fully articulated.
• Front axle stretched forward 1.5".

Axles:
Rear
• D-44 Rubicon rear housing.
• ARB air locker.
• 5:13 thin cut gears brand new.
• Chromo rear G2 shafts 30 spline.
• Rear diff/pinion skid.
• Custom heavy wall CV driveshaft.
• All fresh parts.
• Custom heavy duty axle side track bar bracket.
• Frame side rear track bar bracket is integrated into the right side rear shock outboard bracket to strengthen the bracket and put it in the proper location. The rear track bar makes no contact and doesn't bind anywhere in the suspensions cycle.

Front
• D-44 Rubicon front housing custom built.
• 3/8 wall axle tubes with Dana 44 center section from a Rubicon.
• Inner axle C's rotated for caster to 6.5 degrees with pinion pointed right at the transfer case yoke.
• ARB air locker.
• 5.13 gears.
• 30 spline inner 30 spline outer RCV 300 M shafts.
• USA Alloy 30 spline Unit Bearings.
• Diff/pinion skid.

Steering and Brakes
• Hydroboost kit added to increase brake pressure by 3 times the stock amount.
• WJ dual piston calipers and WJ steering knuckles machines for tie rod and drag link flipped to top side of steering arms.
• Flipped jk drag link with custom adjusting sleeve and 1 ton dodge tie rod end at pitman arm.
• JKS tierod 22mm tierod ends flipped.
• Redneck ram hydro assist steering with hydro assist brakes and Chevy P style pump conversion and PSC high volume power steering pump.
• WJ modded front track bar relocated to match high steer and custom heavy duty axle bracket moved outward as far as possible. Custom front frame crossmember with integrated frame side trackbar bracket. (no bump steer and no track bar binding or contact through suspension cycle )

Wheels/tires:
• (5) 37x12.50r17 STT Max Cooper tires.
• (5) Trail Ready beadlocks with rock ring.

Fuel Tank:
• 24.5 gal Gen right safari tank with skid (awesome for long expedition trips).

Lighting:
• 50" dual row windshield light bar.
• Rigid dually A pillar lights.
• Rigid dually bumper lights.
• 3 sets rigid dually rock lights underside.
• 2 Rigid Rear Parking Lights recessed in fender.
• All lighting on a custom harness with custom switching in dash.
• Led tail lights/turn signals.
• Poision Spyder 3rd brake light and license plate light bracket.

Interior:
• Full custom cage with removable cross bar section behind front and rear seats powder coated black.
• Roll cage is tied into the frame and B-pillar main hoop and the C-pillars. A-pillars are through the dash and go all the way to the floor.
• PRP front and rear seats plus 4 point seat belts. Original front seat belts still installed.
• ORO grip-n-go hand throttle.
• Rockford Fosgate 5 channel 600-watt amp installed under dash. Polk audio speakers in dash and in boat pods on rear roll cage. 8” Rockford subwoofer installed in center console.
• Optima yellow top deep cycle battery.
• Full custom centerstack for switching and USB charging ports.
• LineX spray in liner on complete floor.
• Rear S track tie down system for spare tire, cooler, tool bag, and recovery gear.
• Rear view camera with center mounted color screen and night vision.
• Cobra CB.

Note – The hardtop seen in some of the pictures does not go with the jeep.
