(EDIT: SOLD) 2004 Grand Cherokee Special Edition 4.7 - super clean, North Alabama

After a decade of ownership, I have decided to sell my beloved WJ (only because I'll never be able to justify getting something newer as long as I hold on to this one).

~168k miles
2004 Special Edition 4.7 (non-HO)
light bronze color and tan cloth in very good condition - shampoo vacuumed every six months
Iron Rock Offroad 3 inch coils (and OME 20mm trim spacers in front) to level out the 'stink bug' look
Doetsche Tech shocks
Addco rear stabilizer bar and Zone Offroad extension links (front extended links came with the IRO kit)
Moog ball joints in front
Redhead steering gearbox
dual steering stabilizers
Rear A-arm spacer from KOR
KOR track bar big bolt kit
Kolak exhaust
JK Moabs with 255/75-R17s (and stock 16 in wheels)
Head gaskets were done at 117k miles and valves seats peened. Timing chain is original but I replaced the guides (see my walkthrough thread). Engine is clean inside as viewed from the timing chain, crankshaft, and valvetrain.
factory skid plates, hitch receiver, and tow hooks.
Jeep rubber floor mats. Factory rock sliders (sightly bent on passenger side, they aren't that strong)
Speedo DRD correction so speedometer is accurate. Aftermarket outside air filter.

Replaced in last couple years:
O2 sensors, TPS, CPS, CKS, spark plugs, oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, coolant pump. Does not leak oil or coolant (really!). Front driveshaft (it's the double cardan) rebuilt and balanced. New radiator and hoses. Fuel filter. Front hubs and rear axle seals.

All fluids changed regularly and detailed records kept since I bought it at 54K (off lease).
I've got a set of IRO lower control arms, transfer case rebuild kit (seals and bearings not clutch pack or chain) and new evap and heater core. It's not leaking but it's ready for the dash out job as a precaution.
Transmission shifts well and does not slip. Breaks are seasoned but still strong and no shimmy or squeaks. Air conditioning is strong. I have a set of factory service manuals for it.

This vehicle has been offroad about 4 times since I've owned it and I'd wager never prior to that. Outside of the head gaskets, it's been completely reliable.
The only rust on it is in the spring perches and I treated it as best I could. Just had it apart this month and looks structurally sound.

What it needs:
One rear window is slow and needs either a wire repair or a window actuator.
It has the intermittent low idle issue while in drive but not in neutral.
Heater core / Evap job (dash out)
Probably due for coil packs and injectors
Might replace master cylinder next time it's due for brake fluid.
Needs new headlight housings or have the current Eagle Eyes polished.

First opportunity goes to Jeep Forum members and then I'll put it up on the Gatlinburg Craigslist. This WJ has been a real 'mall crawler' and never abused. It's a good daily driver or candidate for one tons and 40s.

$4500 OBO.
