1979 Jeep CJ7 Renegade $20,500

1979 AMC Jeep CJ7 Renegade rust free original body.

Located in Louisiana zip-70374

Built in Canada
Jeep is from Montana
I purchased in Louisiana and restored it in 2007.
Garage kept and well maintained.

Here's my Facebook album of the jeep, restoration, damages that were repaired along the way, etc.

Please read all the details:
5" Procomp Lift
Stainless Steel braided and extended brake lines.
Sway bar disconnects
Edelbrock shocks
Dick Cepek wheels 15x10
33x12.5r15 Goodyear MTR with Kevlar tires
Matching spare on rear.
Ramsey 8,000lb winch (cable in excellent condition)
Poison Spyder body armor 1/4" steel on entire outside of tub (under doors to bottom to frame. sides around back)
Full roll cage to protect driver/passenger
Full steel doors
Bestop soft top with tinted windows

AMC 360 (from 79 FSJ)
-Edelbrock Performer Cam and Intake
-Edelbrock 1405 carburetor 4bbl - manual choke
-Hedman Headers (long)
-Magnaflow mufflers
-dual exhaust (true dual)
-stainless tips on 45degree out of back corners. Level, straight, and even!
-flex-a-lite fans
-electric fuel pump
-Summit Racing billet distributor
-MSD plug wires

Turbo 400 GM automatic trans (from 79 FSJ).
Lokar long floor shifter.
Dana300 Transfer Case using advanced adapter to Turbo400 tail housing.

Tatton custom driveshafts (double cardon U-Joint on rear)
3.73 gear ratio
Locked front/rear (lockrite)
Locking hubs on front D30
D30 front with hardened axles and heavy duty U-Joints.
AMC20 rear axle with 1-piece hardened axle shafts.

Power steering
Factory steering wheel is rare and in excellent condition.

The horn works and works well! Not many old Jeeps with the horn that works.

Manual brakes (work great)

Tow bar setup on front
Custom integrated 2" receiver hitch with 7 wire plug.
LED tail lights.
LED backup light (manual controlled with switch)
KC Daylighters (old school, not LED)

Rugged Ridge seats front/rear
Passenger seat flips forward to access back seat.
Center console (houses media radio, cb, and 2x 6" speakers)
Rear speakers 6x9 cerwin vega driven by hi-fonics cupid amp.
Factory heat - works

Factory 1979 steps (they are worth $500. Whether you like them or not, they are rare).

Paint is in great condition. I recently cut and buffed the whole thing. (sanded with 1000, 2000,3000, the buffed with 3M white, polished with 3M black, and finished with 3M blue.

The engine and mechanicals are in excellent condition and can be driven anywhere.

Last but not least, this Jeep does NOT leave oil puddles, no leaks.

Beautiful! If i was not in CA i would buy it in a heartbeat.

There is a guy selling his near me, and he is asking the same price as you are, and he did a good amount of work, but yours is absolutely perfect!!!
