Where does everyone buy tires?

any recommendations? I would like the best tires on the market, not what they offer at Firestone. thank you!

For what use? dedicated trail jeep? Snow with ice roads. Bias? Radial? DD.

I have always bought tires at the Local Discount tire. For all vehicles. I as well buy the extra warranty or "Cert". On the tires i use. 37s that is with tax about 450$ each. The cert covers any damage as long as the tread is legal. Any damage they can not repair. I have two trucks as DD. they have the same certs. They are all over and used them very long time.

so when i kill a tire. be it a rock cut or in the end here cactus can lead to slow leaks. if a tire can not be fixed. You do pay for the next cert on the free tire. think last one was 60 bucks? its went up over the years. They dont stock the tires i get but they price match and most times can get tire in a few days.

Last set for the Pick up was from Americas Tire.

I use Discount Tire exclusively. If they don't have the tire you are looking for, they can usually order it and get it in a day or two.

Although I may be a bit biased, I would suggest Discount Tire as well!

Regarding the recommendation for product. Tires are a product of compromise, meaning no tire can score 5 out of 5 in every performance attribute, there will always be a give and take. As 222DD mentioned, your location, driving style and habits, along intended use of the vehicle all come into play. We would be happy to help narrow it down, PM on the way

I use Discount Tire pretty exclusively. Their tire and wheel selection is pretty extensive and I've been very pleased.

I got my Nitto Ridge Grappler tires from 4WheelOnline. I'm happy to have received good customer service from them. They even delivered the tires for free.

I've bought from DT for all my three vehicles since moving to NM in 2011, store down the street. They changed the rules though and refuse to mount a x12.5" tire on a x7" wheel. I've had the same 15"x7" alloy wheels with 35x12.5/15 tires for 15 years, with zero odd wear. But nope, DT won't mount them, looses a customer. The ones on the Jeep now are DT mounted and they can see the wear is fine. You'd think I could sign some waiver for mileage or something, nope.

My local Discount Tire just mounted 245 wide tires on 9" wide wheels for me. Tire said it wanted a 7-8.5" wide wheel.
