2004 4.7 High Output engine part out.

Have a 4.7 HO motor that dropped a valve seat cylinder 1. I havent dissasembled the motor yet to see the carnage. I would like to part out the motor or swap HO cams, the remaining 7 rods and pistons and intake manifold for 08' cams and intake manifold. I plan to keep the heads, block and crank for a build. I dont know if that is a deal or not. I havent price compared too much.

I would like to "part out" or "swap". This means sell or trade.

If you're wanting to sell or trade something, then you need to post in the classifieds section and not in the technical discussion forums.

If you're trying to sell it here, there are no classified ads allowed in this part of the forums. There's a separate classified section that you can post in after you have 25 posts in the forums.
Try your local Craigslist, though I can't see it being worth more than it's scrap weight to a salvage yard.

Thanks for the response. Im not very familiar with the forum yet. I wouldnt scrap the motor, id get more for the tone ring alone if i sold it compared to scrapping the whole motor haha!
