Mahindra roxor vs jeep cj7 there can be only 1!

This might not be the right place for this thread... I apologize if that is the case, but I just saw something that bothered me greatly... I have always been a huge jeep fan... I love the history, the simplicity, the versatility, everything about Jeeps that represent Freedom to me.... Now, I have been saying for years that I wish Jeep would just go back to it's roots with simplicity, and somehow bring back the classics in a new way... I HATE that it has come to another manufacturer in another country and the lawsuits to follow for something like this to come to fruition.... Shameful.

GOOGLE THIS IF YOU ARE NOT AWARE OF IT.....

"THE 2021 MAHINDRA ROXOR"

For all you old-timer jeep fans.... Prepare for an involuntary eye-twitch.

MAHINDRA has been building Jeeps under license for years and years.....

Sold here as a SXS because it would never pass DOT standards.
legal issues because Fiat doesn't like it...

Whats over that next ridge?

looks like the 2021 will have air bags and much of what ever it takes to work as street legal, Fiat is dead to me anyway, i would buy a horse if that was the only choice.. but the size has went up and the price as well, so it near 30k now....... and not so simple, not low cost. IFS front more like the new bronco then a wrangler? IFS?

I wonder what it would cost to build a stockish CJ starting with a new frame tub and nose.
and rebuilt donor parts. mix of drive train parts

I'm sure it could be done for less than a 2021 Ruxor or some new SXS or XUV

A buddy of mine was in the market for one earlier this year. I really hope he picks one up as I’d like to see it first hand. I love the idea of a diesel CJ and yeah the lawsuits are just jealousy. Fiat has been asleep at the wheel for years now...

I have seen several in my area, I think they would make a great Ranch/Farm vehicle that will outlast
a side by side type of rig. and could be made into a great trail rig with a little work. Looks very much
like a CJ7 with lots of options to make it yours, but if you load it with options the price climbs quickly.
I don't know how much of the CJ stuff on the market will fit the Roxor, but it looks like some of the
body stuff may.
