Inserts within the grill, or just a chrome grill? I happen to have the latter just sitting in my shed. PM if interested.

Theres only 2 factory grill inserts ever offered. The standard black slats, or mesh that was found in the 5.9 style grill (which was only found in that grill). The inserts are part of the grill but you can modify them by cutting them out with a rotary tool and putting any style you want behind. Lots of videos on youtube. Precut inserts can be found on ebay.

But the short answer is no, there are not any other factory colors beyond stock

98 Laredo ZJ 4L -3.73, 5.9 "ultrastar" rims, slotted brakes, Dynomax turbo, CAI.

Thank you for your help, I'm after the slim chrome/plastic trims to surround each of the 7 openings on the grille, as on summit models I believe, see ebay uk ad. ref 273030214861, for example, looks like they should just pop on, inner backing not needed. Thanks again.

What year Grand Cherokee do you have? This section is for 93-98 ZJ Grand Cherokees, which didn't come in a Summit trim. I think the only model with a Summit trim is the 2011-current WK2s. If that's what you have, you want to be here: https://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f309/

EDIT: Nevermind, I misunderstood what you were saying in the previous post.

ZJ Grille Trims

Thank you for trying to help, sorry if I wasn't clear. I have a 1998 ZJ with body coloured grille and wanted to brighten it up by applying some kind of chrome trim to the 7 grille slots, perhaps similar trims to those that are on the current Patriot models. I realise they are available for later models and different grille shapes as after-market customisation add-ons and was hoping to discover that there may be something available to fit my old ZJ.

If the chrome trim found on the WJ limited is what youre talking about, nothing like it exists for a ZJ

Thank you, the chrome grille would be nice but skinny trims on the WJ Limited are what I was hoping to find for my ZJ.
Through your kind help I now realise they were never made . God bless you.

Thank you JonMopar, that's what I will probably do.

To PolkaPower - it's a shame you completely missed the point, nothing to do with grille inserts, simply an appreciation to the two people who took the time and trouble to provide a helpful reply to my question. God's blessings are there for the asking, they are free and plentiful.
