ZJ grab handles

Ok, need some ideas for grab handles. I just finished the basic lift on my ZJ, and wife struggles to get into the ZJ. Its not like her Wrangler JK that she has added grab bars. If anyone has done anything as far as grab bars or grab handles please post pics so i got some ideas.

You can also bolt accessories to this.

I seen those once before and totally forgot about that. Wife likes, so I am assuming that means i get to get ahold of Brandon at MVF again.

Thats not a bad idea, How did you attach the strap to the A pillar? I see it failing eventually. I will probably order the MVF set up. I seen somewhere I think for Wranglers where someone makes bar attachments to mount phones, cameras and stuff like that. Would be good to get a Go Pro mount so you can film the ride.

Big sheet metal screw at each end. You can see in the pic if you look close. The strap is folded inward so it hides the bottom screw. Yes surely it will fail, but it's been there a long time and wifey doesn't weigh much. Still, I love the design of the MVF piece--thanks Polka! It's already shipped! I'm going to find a new pillar panel at the boneyard to hide the old carnage.

Still a good idea. Those handles kinda look like the ones for the Wranglers that wrap around the roll bar. Wife has a set of them in hers.

Can't wait to see what the new set up will look like. You going to try and keep the A pillar trim pieces on? looks like in the MVF pics that he had it removed.

Trim pieces stay on for the mvf bar. They use nutserts and bolts if I remember correctly. I'd just weld them in.
