Was just wondering people with 5.9's what do you guys idle and drive at temp wise ? Seems mine hangs around 180-190f and never gets to 210f. Oh and what is your oil pressure usually at ?

Just want to compare

idle: 720ish
Temp: 180* T-stat.. rarely gets above 190*
Oil pres:Mine is Canadian, so it's shown in "Bar" but it normally sits about half, in mornings or under WOT it sits about 7/8 up the gauge..

Bar is pressure not temperature...

If it only gets to 190 your have a 180* tstat. either get it tuned to work better with the lower tstat(sct tune) or change it to stock next time you feel the need to get into the coolant system.

'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.

Right. Bar is Pressure.. thats why the oil Pressure sensor is shown in Bar

180* T-stat is for the Mopar performance PCM.. the gauge likes to read about 85* Celsius.. to be more exact, the gauge reads about 185*F

jeez.. nit picky bastad
