Thanks. Already did that once to swap the TC. I would rather not have to do that again, especially in January.

Where to install a remote oil filter on a 1995 4.0???

I have a Trans-Dapt kit. I'd like to install the oil filter oriented vertically so that I can remove the old filter without pouring the oil in it over my arm. And so that I can fill the new filter with oil before I spin on the new filter.

Where are you all putting them? And with pictures, please, if you can.

Thank you.

Mr. Puddles posted pictures in his build thread...

Got the ARB bumper and winch installed today! The whole reason I bought the parts jeep in the first place... Also pulled a 242 tcase in the rain and sold the dana 30 and 44 from the parts jeep. Garage is steadily cleaning up from the chop shop it was lol

Finally got the new control arms painted, installed, and adjusted. Huge improvement over the old RC junk I had in there for a bit. Installed the gas tank skid while I was in there as well.

Got my replacement DD for the ZJ while I'm in Japan. My shin hits the dash when I depress the clutch but I couldn't pass on it. lol...

Mini rock crawler. All you need is an LS swap...

Suzuki Carrys are sweet, quite a few of them running around Canada as they are a popular cheap shop truck among the JDM set.

Built my own. 1.5x.25 DOM uppers, 2x.25 DOM lowers, Trail Gear threaded inserts and Currie joints. Similar to the Currie RockJock uppers and lowers but with much heavier tube and double-adjustable lowers instead of single-adjustable.

New power steering pump, pulley, and hoses for the '97 4.0. Still have a whine from that area, so ordered a new tensioner pulley.

Ran out of daylight to do the alternator.

Niner is still in the garage, so it was done in the street at a balmy 30F.

What is the vacuum hose that I have circled in red connected to? Both my 96s just had a cap on that location.

Installed struts for the lift gate and rear window. Oil and filter change. Transmission fluid/filter , 2-3 accumulator spring, and band adjustment. Messed around with TV cable adjustment.

You mean 3-4 spring?
All those things are cheap and quick fixes for minor annoyances.

Oh ok mine has that routed from the vacuum port on the side of the manifold. It also looks like you have a line there in the original picture, but from the second picture I can see yours has the leak detection pump as well. Neither my original ZJ (from Chicago) or my current ZJ (from Colorado) have had the LDP.
