My guess is activation of that system becomes very scary, very fast.

I'm starting to think all belt tensioner parts are made by Litens? First I ordered a Dayco pulley from Advanced, when it came in it said Litens on it, not Dayco. Unfortunately, that didn't get rid of the ticking sound I was hearing, so next I got a Gates tensioner from Rock Auto -- yup, made by Litens.
It fixed the ticking sound though.

I rebuilt my tensioner when it started sticking and destroyed a water pump. That was in 3/2015 and it's still working perfectly with zero play in it.
So it's the factory-original Mopar from late 1997 @ 150k miles on original pulley bearings and all original parts

Had a problem with my interior lights flickering on and off, dimming and such. Was gonna buy a new switch but I ended up fixing it for $.25.

Had a similar problem and it was the headlight switch as others suggested. Ended up getting a new one from the junkyard, but after changing it I think it might have just been a loose connection on the back of it rather than the switch itself.

I've got an extra one that I resoldered laying around. Auto lights but no fog lights.

Will add picture when I get home.

$10 + shipping and it's yours if you want it.

Guaranteed itís the solders. I used to be able to push the dimmer switch in and it would go away. Thatís pretty much what your quarter is doing, itís putting pressure on the cracked solder joints on the board behind that switch. Eventually the pressure will no longer work and youíll have to take it out and re-solder it. Enjoy the quarter fix while you can haha
