Burned the back of my hand on the radiator, I was halfway home from work before the idiot chime went off and I looked down at a pegged temp gauge.

Electric fans work better if you reconnect ALL the wires for them after doing electrical work . . .

I finished my hitch flip last night. Turned out ok I guess.

Here's a better shot of the finished hitch. I just cut the ends and flipped the frame mounts. The chain hook bar was also cut off and relocated to the other side. If you leave the receiver part exactly where it is from the factory, it puts the receiver tube at the right height in the middle of the bumper.

I ended up cutting on the red lines to allow for more space for when inserting the hitch pins. Just make sure not to cut off the bumper cover mounting holes. I was about 1in away. Also, note that both the metal bumper and the frame metal behind had to be trimmed.

That's slick as hell. If I still had my factory rear bumper and hitch I would have started doing that this weekend. I'll keep it in mind if/when I get a 9er.

I also took my front factory tow hook mounts and welded d-rings mounts to them

Great job jayheats and super clean install!

Even looks better than using the WJ bezel.

Did a thing today. Gonna see how I like it then do the mod.... And wire some cheap speaks into the factory speakers with a switch so they don't distort my good speakers when the doors are on.

~ Checked my oil level today, i have a small leak - so i added a tiny bit of oil, also added a bottle of AT-205.
~ Fixed the ground wire (again) in the the door boot thing, meow 3 of my windows are working, for some reason my driver side rear window will not open by trying either the driver button nor the button on the actual driver rear door
~ Also, my passenger front door, seems there is an issue there as well, when using the remote or the button on the door to open/close the door - that door seems not to want to play ball and it does not move the button into the open position, or to the close position (after i manually open it myself) grrrrrr...

...obviously looks like i have some research to do and hopefully i will get it fixed in the not so distance future, i am going to get some work done on the jeep and i think i will be looking at selling it this or next year - almost 10 years of ownership with very minimal issues so pretty impressed with it but i need a truck and can't swing by having both, nor would want to...

oh yeah... and i also super (gorilla) glued the rear view mirror mount to the windshield, it has fallen off a couple of months ago and finally getting around to getting that fixed up as well, hehe

it didn't stop the leak totally but for sure slowed it down. this is a second bottle i'm adding (on new oil so not like there is 2 bottles there at the same time)...
also, i used this same stuff to spray under my other car, it helps with the squeaking i was having, assume helps rejuvenate the rubber joints or whatever was making the noise, only did the front and was a big help...

It fixed my engine seals so I could run synthetic. Also fixed a pinion seal and a rear wheel bearing seal, I replaced that seal anyway but I tried it for the hell of it. It was fixed in less than a day.. I was paranoid about the bearings being bad so I just replaced everything back there.

Today I finally installed my front sway bar links. Somehow throughout the process I managed to lose the domed washer that fits over the bushing on one side, to compress the bushing. Do you think a regular washer would be okay to use?

Also can't seem to put the correct words into google to find a replacement. I keep trying domed washer.
