I was thinking i can cut along the red line and make it look o little better than just cutting halfway into the vent holes.
i wonder if you could take out the VIC and reroute the AC vents down there

Had some time after work today so I did the infamous 4.0/5.7 Hemi swap. Easier than everyone seems to think it is...

Then after that, I changed the plugs on the wife's '06 Hemi XK. Take a look at the plugs that came out. It has just over 100k on it, so I wonder if the factory put in the wrong plugs or if the PO did. Amazing how in doing so, the Info Center now reads 14.8 avg mpg vs. 9.9 before the new plugs, and no hesitation feeling when cruising.

what all was involved with the swap(besides the obvious unhook it all, swap the ECM, remove the hood, pull the motor, reinstall new)?

Not much, gravity did most of the work. It was harder to change 16 spark plugs.

Lol. That's always a solution. I didn't have my system in my ZJ yet when I had the carpet out of there.

so, since i had to pull the master cylinder i figured i would pull the inoperable abs pump and free up some engine bay room/amps in the pdc.
WHat a PITA. there is seriously 7 different size fittings between the prop valve, abs pump, and hard lines. so i decided to just convert everything to 3/16 double flare for simplicty. spent 20$ on the flare tool and 13$ on fittings but it turns this...

into this....

Also, the rear axle is getting some love this weekend...
Love the pringles sitting there waiting to be ate while working on the rear. Lol

Haha the old plugs are lawnmower plugs

All I need in life is my Jeep, my guns, and my wrenches... And maybe some fine women too

Today I decided to hot rod the 96 on the way home. Like i always do.
Check Gauges light came on and then i noticed that the oil pressure gauge wasnt working.
My fiancee just happened to be following me home in her car and she called saying I was spitting oil and smoke everywere.
Pulled over at subway and the area where the red o ring is on the oil pressure sender was loos and i could see the o ring.
I pulled it off and the sender was full of oil where all the electronic points are.

Did it blow threw the oil pressure sending unit?

I like my VIC it works perfectly now that i squared away the coolant sensor error. Im getting kind of worried about putting the clarion in there because it is a computer and if i use my heater i might reduce the life of this $600 sterio. Its running windows 5.0 and only has one little fan in it.

Im kinda thinking about throwing it in my 97 Audi cabriolet

Made an update video on the ZJ today, basically showing how it sits after the JKS ACOS install. More updates after Tuesday of next week when the rest of the IRO stuff comes.
