unsure what I have 1996 ZJ

I have to part out my poor dead jeep. I know it has the 5.2L power plant in it. What is the 4 speed AOD trans?
How do I identify my axles? I haven't found a gear ratio tag on the rear pumpkin. I also don't see anything stamped into the axle housing. Whats a good price to ask for those front and rear? Another jeep guy I know told me they are the heavy duty axles that come with the towing upgrade.
How do I identify which xfer case I have? It is full time 4wd with the high neutral and low range.
If anyone is interested in an engine, trans, or axles, let me know.
Thanks in Advance and stay safe.
Let me know if pics will help.

Wiring is bad. wont hold a charge over night. Good battery and good alternator. I am in Montana right next to the Idaho border. Interested in parts?

You are probably right, but how do I verify the axles and xfer case? I sure would hate to get caught with my pants down. How do I figure out the gear ratio with no tag? I know I can count the revolutions, but is there a tag on these somewhere?

All 96-98 v8s came off the factory floor with a front d30 rear 44a 3.73 gears and 249 tcase.
That's how you know!
Otherwise you can look at the tag on the tcase.
The differential cover may still have the metal tag on it that states gear ratio as well.

How many miles are on the Jeep?

So youre only parting it out b/c it has a parasitic drain? Have you tried isolating it by pulling fuses till you dont have a drain?
