U-joint replacement parts list

I'm getting vibrations at low speeds so it's time to replace the u-joints. My question is what do I need to order?? I'm going with the spline u joints. I'm guessing I need 3 for the front and 2 of them in the rear? I have a 97 zj Laredo , inline 6, 4x4, non cv.. Is there anything else I should replace besides just the u joints?? Also I need part numbers because I've seen a lot of different part #s when I searched. Thus confusing me even more. I basically just need someone to list exactly what I need so I can order the parts. Thanks in advance!

Spline u-joints? U-joints shouldn't be splined.

You want spicer, thats the good ****. 1310's all around. Should have 3 in the front shaft and two in the rear shaft. http://www.amazon.com/Spicer-5-1310X.../dp/B009X1X91O

You probably also want to do the centering ball in the CV joint on the front shaft.

8 year old thread by HighLonesome but still a good one on replacing the drive shaft u-joints along with part numbers. Believe these are the same 1310 Spicers kg6mov mentioned.

You may also want to check to see if there's any play in your axle shaft u-joints. Not too long ago I installed new 5-760x Spicer's in my D30 shafts.

I knew there was a write up around here somewhere.

With credit to highlonesome for the part number the CV centering yoke is this: http://www.amazon.com/Spicer-211544X.../dp/B00GAPLVI4

And the rubber boot thing is this: http://www.amazon.com/Dana-Spicer-DL.../dp/B00IVQMTW2

The u-joints I listed are the "upgraded" ones versus the 153x ones. The new design is a little better, not a big difference, but not a big difference in price either.

Thanks! Exactly what I needed. I'm going to totally re do the front drive shaft including the CV centering yolk first. Then I'll take care of the rear and axle shaft u joints when the budget allows. With over 300k miles new u-joints all around sounds like a good idea to me.
