Turns over then dies~ Help?

So the issue is sometimes when I turn the ignition it'll rattle on and be happy. Sometimes it won't. Here's what happens when it doesn't:
I'll turn the ignition, it will turn over and rumble to life. The RPM will rev up like normal and settle back down. If the needle goes back down under the line directly under 1, it will die. If the needle stays above the last line before the 1 on my RPMs it will stay alive and drive. Today the needle dipped below but it saved itself somehow. If I pump the gas the engine will stay up but if I stop pumping and the needle dips too low it will die anyway.

I was given a few suggestions from the Jeep group on FB but I wanted to ask y'all. (Cause I honestly trust y'all more.)
I was told it may be that I need to clean the IAC (Idle air control) or it may be the air control sensor? Also told it may be the temperature sensor? Or cleaning the MAF/throttle body and see if that helps?

My next question would be: I have a 95 4.0 zj that I use as a parts Jeep for my 94 5.2. Would the sensors be transferable or should I hunt those down elsewhere?

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Also: If anyone has a link to a video or good thread with images that shows how to clean the throttle body and IAC I would GREATLY appreciate that!!!

How long has it been since a tune-up (distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs & wires)? That would be my first suspicion.

Also, have your fuel pressure tested.

Oh yes, with the V8, your problem might be the intake plenum gasket. Do a search on here for threads about it. I have a 4.0 so I don't have any saved. Or do a google search.

Maybe a month ago I had all of that replaced entirely.
