Rear Tires are Green on GDM?

Hey y'all. So I took my ZJ out wheeling yesterday, when we got off the trail and back on the road the rear tires on the GDM illuminated green and haven't gone off since. I tried to read the manuel on it and it says it's in 2 wheel? I have a 94 ZJ Laredo, 5.2 V8. I came back this morning and still they stare at me with their green selves. Any info would be much appreciated.

Do you still have the 249 t case? All that lights up the GDM are little (194?) bulbs. The rear wheels with any transfer case should always be lit up except for when in Neutral. If the front wheels aren't lighting up when in 4wd but the rear wheels are, it's more than likely a bulb in the GDM or a sticky switch in the t case.

Sounds like you had a problem in your GDM wiring and wheeling bounced things around enough that the t-case lines are connected now.

How do i find out which transfer case I have?
And so the rear wheels should always be lit? Even though I have all time 4wheel?

And all four wheels should always be lit with a 249.

Fix the dead bulb or wiring issue in the GDM.
