..Progress on my V8 ZJ.

i'VE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET on here in almost a year. But I did get on tonight .
SO I found a new Mechanic .. Man this kid fixed some stuff fast ..
My heater ./ AC Unit would only blow on High .
He found a short . A helper kid ran a screw through some big wire when he put in my Heater core.
Not Jimmy if you remember HIM working on my rigs .It was a kid helping Jimmy out .
...
... He's put in a Clock Spring . & I have horn & cruise control . My heater or AC UNIT now blows on all speeds . While it did only blow on high . .
..... It's not ready to come home yet .. But it's close .
.......................................
......Advise... Guys there is some one / tech that can find why you ZJ won't run properly .

....... & AS A 2ND HAND NOTE MY RADIO NOW WORKS ..
................
.... hE'S NOW LOOKING FOR A BAD iNJECTOR. .

I'd say for the how cheap you can find injectors, replace all of them. Especially if your rig is higher mileage. But on that note, you can replace just one. it isn't necessarily going to hurt anything.

so We wasn't think they ''aren't'' very cheap. Top prices have bee $129.00 each..
But while some of the in the remfg price at maybe $45.00. What are you seeing .
. But 240.00 for a set of I don't know is going to fix this .

In the last 3 years I may have driven this jeep maybe 50 miles.
... SO I'm not sure about these injectors .being the issue.

Send them out for a rebuild:

https://www.ksuspensionfab.com/store...Service.html#/

Or purchase a set of 4-hole injectors that have been rebuilt:

riiz hit the site I have seen before. If its not a daily driver, why not send them out. $70 to rebuild for a v8 is pretty cheap and they will match flow them plus upgrade from single hole to 4 hole tips.

As I had said before, you can replace one, but buying or sending yours out to be rebuilt by a reputable company will do it right and match the flow for the set so you don't have a cylinder running hotter or colder with fuel delivery.

Its not fun rebuilding injectors. I used to have a diesel benz, built my own pop tester and ordered the parts and rebuilt my own. To get the pop pressure and flow the same is hard work. Course those are diesel and not gas. I maybe end up sending mine out to that site riiz posted. I got 197k on mine and I believe with the work I have done already my Jeep was stock meaning all factory original installed parts. even down to my spark plugs.

You send you in your set of 8 injectors, and he charges you $70 to rebuild and flow-match all 8. You are purchasing a service.

But you can purchase 8 rebuilt 4-hole injectors for $188 on the same website.
