new header panel with headlight adjusters?

I recently ordered a new header panel for my Grand Cherokee, and it didn't come with headlight adjusters, the ones where you use a allen head to adjust them horizontally and vertically. So I got the header panel just bear and I don't have an old one to pull the adjusters off of and implant in the new panel. How do people go about swapping in new header panels and adjusters when it seems like I can't even get the old adjusters out of my broken header panel and I can't find them online anywhere to install in this new one? All I see are the studs with a white plastic piece on it when I type in grand cherokee headlight adjuster on google or ebay. How do I get the whole mechanism for it? The black piece that u have to use a Allan to adjust it? I need those things. Thanks for the help guys

Kolak can sell you new adjusters. Give him a PM.

one of the pairs you take out the two screws and then it slips right out .... the other you turn the adjuster and thread the horizontal threaded pin out then remove the two screws and the the base comes out ... put it in the new header panel and run the adjuster in reverse and thread the horizontal back in .....

I just did this two weeks ago and had absolutely no issue ..... look at them again and you will see it ....

I did this exact thing. I just ended up going to a JY and pulling a whole header panel with adjusters still in it

Dual posts on the same thing?

Morris 4x4 has the adjusters in stock.

I lost all my headlight hardware. The problem is the post without the torx adjuster. I never got a measurement for how long its supposed to be. I didn't lose the regular (torx) adjusters, just the short posts. Anyone have an initial measurement I can start from?

It's a 98 grand cherokee. You might need that bit of info to help me.
