You revived a dead thread in the wrong forum for your model. FWIW I have the Moog DS1235 on my ZJ, without a single issue. Instead of trying to sell us your track bar, return it as a defect to the store you got it from.

I realize I posted in the ZJ forum. I did not realize this is a no humor zone. My apologies for the offense.

Please- no offers on the defective track bar. Just to clarify.

The world has become a no humor zone and everyone has super thin skin these days.

Unlike some, i did not take offense to your statements, and applaud you for using the thing called search!

I did not take offense to his comments, but rather he commented on a 4 year dead thread, to ask a question he already has an answer to. If the bar is visibly longer than your original it is obviously wrong. Either boxed wrong or the store sold you the wrong one. I gave you the answer you needed. Take it back and get the correct one. Just seems to be a lot of dead thread revivals for no reason.

More life for the old one...

The front track bar on my ZJ needs replacement. I am unable to remove it from the track bar bracket. What is the trick?

What I had to do was cut the stud off of the ball joint and then drill an offset hole through the stud that was still stuck in the bracket. Came right out once the tension went away.

yep, with air hammer

I think removing the nut and turning the steering wheel back and forth might loosen it.

Loosen the nut and go a drive, when she death wobbles the stud has loosened.
