hey guys,

i finally put the Z back together one more time.

taking it easy for a while, need some kind of a break in.

does not seem like "super fast" as i was expecting, keep in mind that i'm completely out of tune though. gonna take a dyno sessione after break in.
still need to complete some minor stuff like dual exhaust, really hoping it stays together this time.

a few friend came to say hello , couple 4.7s and another 5.9.

hi guys,
did some minor stuff yesterday: tightened track bar bolt, greased the sway bar bushing and reversed a sway bar bracked (it was installed upside down), cleaned the coolant reservoir and greased all the steering components. unluckily all the boots of the steering components are shot so grease is spilling out.

gonna do some detailing today.

done some detailing yesterday, obviously we got rain tonight lol

washed the engine and the suspensions too.
i know washing the engine ain't the brightest idea, but after all this work it was simply filthy. i couldn't tell if there were any leaks or anything.

looks like i'm having some transmission codes:
p0711 44re transmission fluid temperature sensor A circuit range / performance is still pending. other ones are stored.

https://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f13/...where-1145768/

https://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f13/...sensor-708858/

https://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f13/...sensor-828009/

found these.
everything in this tranny is brand spankin new.
could be a faulty new part?
https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...modulator,8500

is this the correct part i need? or, is it normal with a full manual tranny?
thanks
marco

That's within the range for infant mortality, but I would tend to assume a wiring fault with that many codes.

All those codes are generated by that one solenoid/sensor. But it is either a damaged solenoid or plug/harness is damaged. Which brand of solenoid did you go with, the rockauto link shows all 4?

just came back from a few days of holiday, i did not go with the Z lol.

no news on those codes. need to check out the issue deeper.

only thing i did is adjust the steering box a lil. feeling better now. i'm running the steering box brace, "the cure", stronger control arms. i don't think i can do much more to improve the steering feel on my rig. what do you think?

quoting myself,
contacted good old martin, he says that Codes are to be expected. The PCM no longer receives signals from the Pressure/Temp sensor or the Governor Pressure Solenoid, thereby triggering the MIL.

i'll try to remove them when i tune it. i don't like the cel always on.

300km on the tranny, 1800km on the engine.

Maybe you can fake the PCM and connect some small light bulb as a tranny solenoid
