The 5.9 sitting in my garage has about 210,000km, funny that everyone so far is reading in kilometers!

The 5.2 currently in my ZJ has almost 240k miles, its a US vehicle.

Thanks to all for replying. I had no idea these motors had such longevity.

423. Brand new rebuilt short block.

Pete

If I had all the money I spent on cars, I'd spend it all on cars.

'84 CJ-7 (bought new with 7 miles on it) Stock except for slightly built up AMC 360 (new factory rebuilt at 87,200 miles) and an NV4500. 88,000 original miles.

A bunch of other trucks and cars in various garages...

Chrysler's LA motors, and subsequently their more refined Magnum motors, are amongst the best in the world when it comes to longevity.

From 1964 until it was retired in 2003, the LA (and then magnum) powered many vehicles on the road.

I have 328k km on my niner (and 214k km on my old '88 fifth avenues 318 )
