front differential

Guys- I want to replace my front diff. instead of having it serviced. Ive been using Rock Auto for my parts with good success. What diff do I need to get. Everything on the 96 gcl 5.2 w/uc and tow package is stock with 255k had since new.
The reason I want to do this is I've never had a problem with it but the front is starting to howl at 60mph. The rear has been rebuilt 3 times. Just drained the transfer case and fuild was black but no burnt smell- Never been serviced

Thanks

do you know how to set up gears?

probably just needs the bearings replaced. i'd let the shop source the parts so you get a comprehensive warranty on the work.

'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.

Price?

Local Dealer that I've had great success with wants 8-900 to replace all bearings, Pinion and stuff in front Had the rear done a long time ago by them for 600.
This is one job I won't do myself. What should it cost?

Thx

throw in a $150 junkyard axle and be done
spending anything over $250 on a stock d30 ever is just a waste of money, imo.
