Driver Power Seat Track Repair Question

Hello, I am looking for a repair process to repair my ZJ driver's seat track. The seat does not want to move forward/backward although motor runs fine. Seat will move if I push/pull while holding switch. I thought I once saw where someone posted a way to repair it but I sure can't find it now. Has anyone tried to repair their seat track and had any success? If you can point me to a DIY process I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Power Seat Repair for ZJ

I just rebuilt my wife's 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee's driver seat power mechanism with forward-backward troubles. See:

It is just what you are looking for.

Yeah it is the little white nylon worm gears in there that get stripped sometimes.
At least that was the problem in the power seats of my '00 XJ .
I had tons of spare parts so I just swapped out motors.
